WELCOME TO BRISTOL

Wisconsin (Willinois)

Please join us in Bristol this summer for our Farmer's Market, Horse Shows, Classic Car Shows, Progress Days Festival, outdoor Concerts and terrific scenery!

LOCATION

Bristol is a rural suburb of Chicago and Milwaukee. It is directly adjacent to 41/94 and just across the state line near Gurnee. Bristol is a convenient commute to Chicago, the North Shore, Northwest suburbs, Lake Geneva and Milwaukee. It takes approximately 35 minutes to get to Bristol from Lake-Cook Road on the Expressway.

HORSE COUNTY

Bristol is lovely horse country and an increasingly popular equestrian community.  Bristol is convenient to a wide variety of existing horse, veterinary, and competition facilities and is just down the street from the possible Olympic Games Equestrian site in Lake County.  The Town of Bristol is composed of working farms, horse and weekend properties, lake houses and village homes. Bristol has good schools and many family friendly neighborhoods. As rural Lake County rapidly disappears, Bristol remains one of the last rural enclaves in the Chicago area.

NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL PASTORAL LANDSCAPES

Current Bristol residents are working to ensure that Bristol retains its rural character. If you love open space, horses, hunting, gardening, flying, boating or country sport, you may want to invest in our community of like minded people. Bristol land is still available at reasonable prices - but perhaps not for long.

TOWN OF BRISTOL

The Town of Bristol maintains an official web site. This site contains information about town government.  To visit the Town of Bristol Town Hall web site go to: www.town.bristol.wi.us
